frequently asked questions

How much do your "flat-printed" invitations cost?

Our pricing depends on several factors including quantity, number of inks and paper choices. However here are some basic prices based on an order of 100 wedding invitations. Our flat-printed sets begin at around $650 for 1 color and $725 for two colors. This includes invitation, rsvp card and BASIC envelopes with black laser return address printing included in the base price. Our line of basic envelopes comes in a wide variety of color options. We offer hand-lined envelopes and colored backing cards as design upgrades.

How much do your letterpress invitations cost?

Based on a set of 100 wedding invitations, letterpress pricing for a base set is $1130 for one color and $1570 for two colors. Our base set includes your invitation, response card and our BASIC envelopes WITHOUT return address printing. Letterpress return address printing and design on envelopes is an additional fee and begins at $400+ (for 1 color) and depends on design complexity. We also offer 100% cotton envelopes as an upgrade. Extensive custom design work can also effect the pricing structure.

How early should I order my invitations?

It is never too early to start thinking about ordering your wedding invitations. We often work with brides 9 months out if they want to send a Save the Date. If you are only interested in wedding invitations, approximately 5-6 months ahead of your wedding for custom work is appropriate. If you want to pick from our "ready-made" line, 4 months out may be okay. Remember you will need some time to address and assemble your invitations after you receive your order. If you are closer than these times, you may be incur additional rush charges, so start early.

When should I send my Save the Date cards?

Our recommendation is to send Save the Date cards and information anywhere from 1 year to 6 months ahead of your wedding depending on the extent of the travel and arrangements required for your guests. If you are planning a destination wedding that requires travel arrangements, send your save the date cards out 1 year ahead and give your guests all of the resources necessary to make plans. Things to include in your Save the Date are hotel information, nearest airport, and area activities information.

How many wedding invitations should I order?

You should carefully look over your list and consider couples and families where only one invitation is necessary in determining your wedding invitation count. This way you will not order too many invitations, however keep in mind it is always better to have a few extras than not enough. Printing a second run of wedding invitations is very expensive.

How should I word my invitation?
