how to place your order
order a sample
Order a sample invitation. Our flat-printed samples are $6 and our letterpress samples are $15. Usually within a week you will have your sample in hand. We think it is best for you to see the quality of our work prior to placing your order. You can also call or email us for a sample request AND receive samples of our paper swatches for ink/envelopes at no additional charge. The cost of the sample order will be refunded to you should you open an invitation order with us.
open your order with a deposit of $100
We require a $100 deposit to open an order with us. We can receive payment via check, mastercard, visa OR paypal. Please let us know you are ready to open an order via email or a phone call. At this time, please let us know how you would like to pay for the deposit. We are happy to provide a written price quote for an order prior to this step, just ask. Please note: Our Custom Wedding Invitations require a 50% deposit to being design work.

Please type your wording into an email OR attach a word document or PDF file of your invitation wording.
In approximately 7-10 business days, you will receive a proof of your order. The proof is a good opportunity for you to check everything one last time. Remember to proofread your wedding invitation text looking for typos, misspellings and omissions. Paperwhites Press will produce a wedding invitation set that looks exactly like that proof (keeping in mind that color varies from screen to print). For accurate color, you should refer to a PMS swatch book or request our color samples. Since our invitations are printed using antique presses, a slight variation in color can occur due to the nature of the process and should be expected.
final payment
When you approve the proof, we will send you an invoice with your total amount. Payment in full is due at this time. We accept Visa, Mastercard, money orders and personal checks. With credit cards and money orders, we are able to begin printing immediately. With personal checks, we wait until the check clears to begin the design process and/or printing your invitations — this can take up to ten business days.
printing, finishing & shipping
Printing and shipping can take up to three weeks or longer depending on the complexity of your project. Rush orders are an additional charge and available based on current workload, please call first if you require a rush order.
